If you are a fan of any team in New York City, hopefully you aren't a fan of their football teams. Both the New York Giants and The New York Jets are currently the laughingstock of the National Football League and frankly should not even be competing in the league this year. Both franchises are sitting last in their division as well as in their respective conferences and the only other team that can compete for the bottom spot in the city is the New York Knicks.
The only bright hope for a spark of enjoyment, Saquon Barkley, is sidelined for the rest of the season. I guess that's what happens when your offensive coordinator can't find someone to throw the ball. Plagued with injuries and frustrated players neither team seems to be able to get a hold on this lackluster season. As the season progresses New York’s football teams have a slight glimmer of hope to possibly look forward to, and his name is Trevor Lawrence.
